Chaffinch

South Shields can be beautiful. Here it is at night and it's a shot over the water so not really South Shields. It's a place I love as I went there for holidays for years. It also has the best fish and chips at Colmans as well.

Visited Minsteracres last year. It's a Passionist Retreat Centre. This cross is in the grounds and looks over the Tyne Valley

Misty

This is the 3rd cat we have. Misty is the kitten of Amber and is a scaredy cat although she will sit watching me for ages behind me.

Meet Amber my cat. She is one of 3 rescue cats we got and is the oldest by about a year. when found she was with a litter of feral kittens and was pregnant again. We also have Misty who is one of her kittens from the 2nd litter

Minsteracres

Last July there was an open day at Minsteracres, a Passionist Retreat Centre. Whilst wandering round the grounds we came upon a chicken shed with the door slightly ajar. and peering out was..........

Tabitha

Being owned by 3 cats they will feature here so this is the first one, Tabitha. She is 8 years old and believed to be a Norwegian Forest Cat but being a rescue cat we don't know.
Over a year ago she ruptured her cruciate ligament and last December she went and ruptured the other one. It's amazing how skinny her leg is without fur.

5 Generations

Went to my grandma's 101st birthday party yesterday. It's her birthday today and here are 5 generations of the family with a total of 246 years between them. Baby is only 5 weeks old so over 100 years between youngest and oldest.
My grandma first appeared in the 1911 census and every one since then. Quite a feat.
